Sharing a Little Love...Part Two

Hello Sweet Friends,

A few weeks ago I shared a picture of the blanket that I knitted for my future little grand-niece, Sophia.  And now, I want to share another picture of the blanket...but with little Sophia Loren Bassett inside!!! Squeeel!

Isn't she a sweetheart?  All wrapped up in her "heart" blankie...on Valentine's Day!  Love!  And here is part of the message I received from her Mommy:
Loving this blanket!! Used it to swaddle her up last night and she only woke up twice!!
Now this is one of those little things that really warms my heart!  Happy Valentine's Day!
Love, Lynda

PTI Hearts Challenge, Card 2

And I am back, with one more entry for the Papertrey Ink Challenge:

This card features two hearts punched from DCWV mulberry paper and stamped with the sayings from PTI's Tag-Its #5, using Fresh Snow ink.  The patterned paper is from Basic Grey's Picadilly 6 x 6 pad, on a card base of PTI Summer Sunrise.  It is topped with a Filigree Border die cut and tiny yellow buttons.  Thanks for stopping by again - have a great evening!

Papertrey Ink - 5th Anniversary Hearts Challenge

Hello Friends,

Today I am posting a card in the Papertrey Ink Anniversary Challenge gallery, which is to make a card with hearts and at least one PTI item included.  Here is my first card:

This card features the PTI set, Tag-Its #5, cut out with Limit Less Layers 1 3/4 dies, and popped up over a TE die cut of hearts.  The paper is Picadilly by Basic Grey.  Thanks for looking...I'll be back with card #2 shortly!

Sharing a Little Love...

Hello Friends,
I am still trying to find blogging time in my day...and it is February already!!  I have been busy with a few other projects, one of them being a few knit or crochet goodies for my new little niece that will be appearing any day now!  I wanted to get the blanket, booties, and bibs that I made for little "Sophia" in the mail quickly, so I did not get a picture of them to share with you.  But thanks to mommy-to-be Sami, I got the following picture from her on Facebook this morning:

The blanket and booties are made of a soft yellow yarn.  The blanket is knit, and the booties are crochet.  The two bibs are made of a cotton yarn and are crochet.  Not paper crafts, but I did use Papertrey Ink buttons on the bibs and booties!  :-)

Well, that is all for today...a little thing that makes my heart happy!

Hugs, Lynda
